Mormon Flat Historical Marker

The prettiest drive I'd been on for quite some time. Beautiful.

Great place to hike where all of the early western parties traveled this trail. It's really quite interesting. Also used by the Donner party and the pony express.

Nice historical site, very interesting and informative as to history of the pioneers and their trip to the Salt Lake area. Almost looks like it was when they came thru in the 1840s to late 1850s. They have improved the camp site with new canvas tents and other camping items. Must be reserved in advance. Nice well marked trial. Beautiful stream that runs right by.

Neat place but if you want to follow the trail be prepared to get your feet wet.

They've got yurt-like tents here now you can rent so it's not just a trailhead anymore. Saw lots of little fish in the creek.
