A beautiful place to hike especially in the fall! These photos are mostly of Sardine up at Snow Basin. Not sure why it insisted on Maples Campground.

This is an old abandoned campground, but we still think it's a great place for a short family camp out. The walk in is short and easy for young children (wide gravel road) and there are decent picnic tables near the camping spots. It seems like people avoid it because it isn't maintained, but overnight use is permitted and you get a little peace and quiet without having to schlep the kids for 5+ miles.

We packed in for about a mile and they were fire pits and tables. Beautiful Campground it is not used much because you do have to pack in.

Don't camp here. Beavers will eat your legs in the night hours
