2017 - Annual tradition. Quick trip to beautiful scenery and a great beach.n2020 - Taking two stars away. Still a beautiful location. Sites are still well cared for. Management is lacking, big time! Quiet time, dog rules, people per site, no parking on the grass...these rules are all randomly enforced. Two of our four nights parties went well after 10 PM. Many families had dogs on the beach and we witnessed one do it's business right in the water.nThis place used to be pretty strict on the rules which was also a bit annoying but at least we knew what to expect.

Nice campground. Very well maintained. The staff are all wonderful the ladies at night as well as during the day. Got to meet Smoky, really nice gentlemen. Will return next year for sure. Very peaceful place to stay with a short walk to the beach for lakeside fun. Thanks to all the staff members.

For primitive camping, this location was great for the beach and if you have any watercraft. The campsite had good shade and there were outhouses throughout the park. If you need to dump your waste from your trailer you can dump it right before you leave for a $10 fee. There is volleyball courts and horseshoe pits but you'll need to bring your own net and ball and horseshoes.

The campsites are nice but the staff is rude and disrespectful we were parked in a non parking area with no signs stating that we couldn’t park there besides the don’t park on the grass signs they have so respectfully we didn’t park on the grass and found parking the office did not give us a map of where to go or park and they called the police to tow us we would of respectfully moved our vehicles without so much force and disrespect the cop clearly was like do I really even need to be here it was ridiculous I’m pregnant and was trying to get back to our vehicle before I passed out and started to vomit I suggest they take the staff they have which is an older unopened minded generation and replace with some respectful adults or have some updated training on customer service it’s just sad when you have great places like this to camp and the staff doesn’t have it together and are disrespectful wish we could say we will be back but sadly I don’t want to deal with host camp Ron who was disrespectful and wouldn’t give a clear answer about why he was being so rude about us moving we were on the water for maybe 2 hours max we have no issue moving a vehicle but we have an issue with being disrespected and then he tried to argue with us and blame everything on us we had no idea that’s your job to inform your customers.
