Until today I loved this store. I was given an absolute run around over the holiday meal. While at the deli trying to order I was handed a piece of paper by the deli manager and told to call that number to order.nnCell reception in store is poor so I went to the car to call. I hear several times while waiting for someone to answer an announcement over PA system there was a deli call waiting on line 101. Surely that is a coincidence. No freaking way did she hand me a piece of paper and tell me to call the deli I just left.nnThat IS EXACTLY what she did. When I called her out on it suddenly she claimed I could have ordered at the deli. The one I just left. Because she told me I had to call the number... to her deli.nnThat was the moment, the very moment, that my medication stopped working.nnI call the OTHER number, the customer service number. The nice young man called over for me. He came back and said not to worry they still had the prime rib dinner I was trying to order. I called IMMEDIATELY. Whoopsie they sold out. In the 3 minutes it took to get this manager to answer.nnTo say I am furious is an understatement. I don't much care that the store manager promised to reprimand the deli manager. That in NO way improves MY order, or lack there of.

I shop during the senior morning hour. Again, several of the Smith's employees were stocking shelves with their masks below their noses. Dangerous for me - not for them. Employees also pushing carts the wrong way down every isle - so that I have to stand back for them in order to maintain distancing. I have begun complaining every time I go in and everyone seems very concerned, but it does not change. Not a fun way to start your morning. Even tho it would be inconvenient - I am considering shopping somewhere else ...where I feel safe.

I shop at Smith and find most of my products are good. This past week I bought Blackberries they had on sale. in one week they had mildewed in my refrigerator.nDisgusting. No, I did not return them to Smith's. I was disappointed in that product. Fortunately my other experience have been very positive.

I use the S. MEADOWS Smith's pick up service as I am in vulnerable population and have been very pleased with the efforts to honor my requests. Today I ordered dark chocolate coconut pudding mix and was disappointed when they asked if I would accept substitute dark chocolate. But when I was putting groceries away, there with the pudding mix was a small bag of coconut to add to my pudding at no charge. Thank you Smith's for the extra effortn.
