Had to use this service as all uHauls were reserved for Burning Man. Received a quote via phone and got a copy emailed to me. Picked up the truck on a Saturday morning with the quote lady informing me that since they are closed Sunday and therefore the trucks can not be rented that day there is no penalty for using the truck Sunday as well. (Therefore no strict 24 hour turn around.)nnWhen I arrived to get the truck and the guy wanted a $150 deposit instead of the quoted $100 deposit which I didn't dispute since I would get it back anyways but still rubbed me the wrong way.nnAfter moving my stuff I drove the truck back and dropped it off since it was less than half the cost to drive it myself versus leaving it at my destination. The next day I got a call and the guy said their system glitched so they had no record of my credit card and I would have to give them it so I could be charged.nnAs we continue the transaction he immediately asks for my card to which I respond that I would like a total before paying. He quotes me at over $150 more than my original estimate since I didn't bring it back within the 24 hour period despite being promised that it didn't matter. I protest and he eventually drops the price. I moved out of the area but I definitely won't use Penske again if I can help it.
I have three lg storages there and last week my daughter rented a truck and car trailer there to drive to NC ...Robin the manager who works there is very awesome he went out of his,way to help set the truck and trailer up....thank you robin...couldnt have dine it without your help
