If you are looking for a school with a principal that will NOT help you address issues and concerns regarding your children, then this is your school. I found her to be rude and pompous and she did not appear to care at all regarding my concerns. She did not return emails in a timely fashion and didn’t appear to understand being kind and communicating to a parent was important. She was made aware of poor teaching practices and did nothing to stop it.nI absolutely do not recommend this school given the current leadership at the school. Please, check around the neighborhood for parents with children at the school and you will find others that will tell you exactly what this review states.

I went to school here back in the early 2000s. It was a nice school. My favorite teacher was Mrs. Johnson

Yeet! Me likes Mr. Saulsbury's candy! Yum Yum! I like the bearded dragon in Mrs. Whiteman's classroom.

Not a good school for a non gifted child. My child went there in 2011. First grade teacher showed impatience with my son who had speech delay, and the resource teacher often 'out of the office', so my child was not getting the services as required by his IEP. They would have loved me to volunteer full time and sit by his side as his aide (school district got rid of the aides during the recession), but I had to work full time. Also CRES was very money-grubbing; the supply list for first grade was >$100, including a thumb drive and other non essentials. The classroom was piled high with extra supplies--and they did not send back at the end of the year. Beautiful school, great for snob appeal and pretense but it did not do my son much good. He is now getting a great education at another west Reno school.
