North Star Online School

All of the teachers actually want to be there (which is a rarity in most traditional public schools). Everyone always wants to make sure you are staying on top of your work but not getting stressed. There is always help available and I'm happy I made the transition this year. I've had time to get my school work done while maintaining a job and training for my sports.

This school provides on line learning through the School District and has a campus that is open during normal school hours, staffed with caring and supportive staff and teachers. Students have the option to go on campus and work on their classes which is a nice option should they need help. This school is a wonderful solution for students needing flexible school schedules yet desire to have quality education especially if they are College bound.

North Star is great! I feels like it you get a better education and knowledge of the lessons in North Star rather then in the public school systems. All the teachers are amazing and love to teach and talk to there students.

I've been to all different schools and by far this is where I've enjoyed the most! Everyone is so nice and the teachers are amazing! I'm so happy that I enrolled here.

North Star is a tuition-free online school through the Washoe County School District that offers students the opportunity to complete their coursework on their own schedule, at their own pace. Great staff and teachers that are readily available, small class sizes, and full accreditation as well as the availability of AP and Honors classes make this school wonderful!
