We were seated fairly quickly after waiting for our table. Food was great and flavourful. I ordered the chicken basket, fried okra and gizzards with lemonade. There were other items I wanted to try that were not available. Next time I know to go earlier in the day. I would have given them 5 stars but it was really warm inside. good job
Was looking for a complete meal and found this place!! Small place with great food!! Had smothered pork chops with rice, collard greens and corn muffin!! My friend had liver and onions, mashed potatoes & gravy!! Got a rib plate to go!! Best decision ever!! Big grill working outside with the wonderful smell of meat smoking!! If ever in the vicinity.....you gotta eat here!! Attentive and friendly staff!!! Oh, great homemade lemonade..not too sweet, just right!!
Got take-out gumbo 2 days ago and been back for breakfast and dinner since. Best gumbo I ever had. Best grits I've had since leaving Florida/Alabama. Would have been happy with a meal of just greens like I got tonight. Place has a local cafe feel that I can't remember getting anywhere for years.
Customer service, food and restaurant as a whole = 5 stars. We had the chicken and waffle, meat combo with mash potatoes and gravy. Chicken was crispy and savory. BBQ ribs were delicious. Everything was great!
Went to this restaurant today. Heard this was an excellent eating spot. Sadly, it took an hour and 15 minutes to get our food. I'm truly disappointed and will never go there again. They didn't even apologize for our order given to someone else and that it took forever!! We had the red snapper and chicken wings. Good food, but truly poor service!! Worst service we've ever had!
