Be prepared for 2 hr wait line. They say the team comes every 15 min, more like every 35/40 min. Later in the day they allow the fine dining reservations go first so the wait becomes longer than 2 hrs. They should change the system so you are not getting tickets that allow anyone to come between a 5 hr time frame. It’s be more efficient to have the tickets available for 1 hour time slots so you don’t waste most of your time just waiting in line. Would’ve given 1 star but views are good

Loved this place. The mountain end and view so overwhelmingly beautiful. We enjoyed a picnic at the top and enjoyed the soft wind relaxed mind and view. My name is Roger Browning. I am the author of ' The Reckoning of Rance.' It was that book that brought me here. A story set in the modern southwest, that of a troubled and highly dysfunctional family of ranchers in Texas and about the way that they became that way. On our way to deliver some autographed copies, we discovered this place and oh so beautiful the ride on the tram to the rise of the peak, Sandia. Well worth the time. Dont miss the chance for the journey. My name is Roger Browning. I am a writer and my latest novel out on amazon, is titled, 'The Reckoning of Rance.'

This was our favorite thing we did in the Albuquerque area! Definitely put this on your list. Make sure to buy tickets online ahead of time and if you plan to eat at the top of the mountain to make reservations at ten3 restaurant. Also plan how you dress because it's about 10-15 cooler at the top than down below. It wasn't windy up top on our visit, but were told by others it can get quite breezy.

The tour guides in the trams up/down were awesome. Great views. Cold up top, about 35 degrees colder. Was 85 at the base and about 48 degrees up top... wear trousers and take a hoodie if you're going up in the spring.nnAbysmal customer service getting on. Confused, smarmy, unhelpful, especially the check-in helpers by the gift shop. I would guess they're related to a Manager, because they wouldn't last a day in normal customer service. I've had better service from slammed beer sellers at rock concerts.nnView from the top include the tram cables, and if you go around back, ski lifts. You'd need to go hiking the mountain to find decent vistas.nnAll in all, worth the bucks for the experience, but wouldn't do it again, and would recommend you find a better way to spend a day.

Beautiful views and safe/fun ride. Great staff as well! I appreciated their commitment to good hygiene habits like wiping down the tram between rides. There's something for everyone between leisurely riding the tram and a wide variety of more physically demanding activities. Make sure to hydrate due to the increased elevation!
