In a nutshell: InconsistentnnWe got a take-away order on Saturday at this unassuming eatery located in the back corner of a parallel strip centre. The brisket was EXCELLENT, as was the sauce. The chicken fried steak was also very good, although a tad bit over salted. The mac and cheese was some of the best had from a restaurant. The okra was somewhat disappointing.nnThe peach cobbler was AWFUL! I thought my taste buds were playing a trick on me, so I took a second bite. The peach portion had some odd flavouring in it – pumpkin spice, perhaps? The crust portion tasted as if someone who never baked was asked to make up some dough, without a recipe. It was grainy and had a hint of burned cornmeal. I can’t say enough on how bad it truly was. B-A-D.nnSo, will we be back? Yes, for the brisket & sauce, but we’ll probably pick up the sides and dessert elsewhere.

My dad has lived in the East mountains for 16 years. He recently became ill so me and my family have been here since the end of January caring for him. Ribs became one of our main places to eat from as it was so close to his home. Delicious food and great staff. Now that my dad has passed, we will miss this great little restaurant! Thanks for the great service every time!

Best food EVER!! Great service! Great prices! And very accommodating! We will drive the miles to go back and absolutely enjoy this great food! They don't do a good job...they do a super fantastic job with remarkable cooks that really know BBQ.nBest on the menu: ribs, Green chili stew; brisket! List is endless..but start here! Thanks Ribs! One of our fave places to go. We make the short drive to Albuquerque. I live their half chicken dinner. The staff and food are the best. I deff recommend. They have good drinks too!!!

Probably my favorite Rib place. The BBQ sauce is rich and tangy - not sweet. There is a sweeter version on the table, if you want it. If you live in Albuquerque, this place is worth the drive.
