Easily the best price for grass fed/grass finished beef in the area and is better than anything you can get at Sprouts or Wholefoods.nnNot to mention their service is some of the best around. Stuart is amazing to work with and is one of the nicest people I’ve met. NM Smart Meats is my exclusive place for beef in my household :)

Last year my family purchased 1/4 cow from NM Smart Meats and it was awesome! My favorite, of course, was the tenderloin and the rib eye; yum! The rest of the cuts were also great; plus, the packaging was very well done. We loved the meat and we love that it is from a local NM rancher; we will be purchasing from them again very soon. I highly recommend them.

We are really enjoying the different meat cuts we purchased from NM Smart Meats! We used the instant pot to create a Korean braised short rib recipe and the meat turned out super flavorful and delicious. We use the other cuts for tacos, fajitas, soups. You can’t get much better than local, grass-fed beef. Thank you so much NM Smart Meats! We will definitely be purchasing again in the future.

We love our grass fed beef from NM Smart Meats! The meat is better quality than I can get at a grocery store and NM Smart Meats smells better when I cook it. We eat the hamburger 2 or 3 times a week. The steaks are good, too!nnWe'll be back for more.

I have been happy with my NM Smart Meats decision. The entire process was easier than I expected (this was first time buying large quantity of beef). The owner was extremely friendly and helpful in showing us the different cuts and how the process would go. The price was far cheaper than super market prices when considering all you get. The end result was we got a half cow with various cuts of meat and really enjoyed everything, the butchering process was also pain free. The ground beef was delicious, the cube steaks were great and it was an opportunity to try many new types of beef we normally would never have gotten. It was an investment that definitely paid off. Our half cow easily lasted us 8 months and we'll likely be getting another round of cow.
