I like riding that area, and the whole area on my mountain bike and now my enduro dirt bike . During my the times I have ridden their during warm weather the experience has always delightful. Last weekend at location at the picnic area, I was throwing a knife at a bark, and I turned around unexpectedly and saw a large black animal pass in the brushes on the hillside across from me, maybe a bear, but the vibe was odd. Since the days I have been there never seen one or herd of people seeing any bear, but it is the forest and they are there. I saw tracks up on my birdcage area one time. Keeps your eyes peeled!
Gorgeous. I've been here many times for picnics. Lots of areas for hikes and exploration!
Great access to Cedro Peak area trails. Nice parking, AND, Rest Rooms!
Very beautiful place to go! Enjoyed it a lot very recommended.
For us, it's local. Beautiful forest, well kept trails. We usually go early in the morning when there are few other visitors. By 9:00 the parking starts to fill up and there will be cycling, horse back and hikers on the trails.
