John F Kennedy Campground

The campground itself has not been maintained nor has the road getting there. That being said, there is very little traffic so you may find some peace and quiet.

It's always nice here, but you can't always get all the way to the trail head without walking an extra mile. It's a fairly rough road to get in. There are no facilities. All that said, there are generally very few people hiking and that's nice when you want peace and quiet

My wife and i had a blast going up the pathway

I have been coming here since I was a child. We finally made it to the top and got to explore the 2 caves. So excited that they finally opened up the gate so we can drive right to the trailhead. Can't wait to go back and hike the other trail.
