U.S. Southwest Soaring Museum

This was an incidental stop (we happened to see it as we drove past for gas) for us. So glad we pulled in for a visit! The curator, Gene, took the time to give us a tour and had so much interesting information re all of the gliders and their history. Between his tour and exploring on our own, we spent a very enjoyable couple of hours. Highly recommended!

This is great if u like airplanes! I've been going past this for 30 years and never stoped in. I went in last year and it was packed full of aircraft and was a great stop, I only planed to stop for an hour but spent 3 hours instead. Cost is 5 bucks or what ever u want to give it is well worth the time!

My husband's grandfather is featured in the museum so we wanted to pay a visit during our trip to Albuquerque. I was impressed by the variety of gliders and sense of history. I especially enjoyed the exhibit featuring female pilots. What inspirational role models!

Spent an enjoyable afternoon here. The place is operated by friendly and knowledgeable soaring/aviation enthusiasts
