Santa Rosa Blue Hole

Unfortunately it was closed!!! Very disappointed, planed my stay in santa Rosa to enjoy it!nThe site is beautiful from previous visits, my 3 stars is mostly disappoinment!

Wasn't open when we showed up but it's a easy place to run up to .

Went out to do some scuba dives and really enjoyed it. I will say the water is pretty cold so remember that if you plan to head out. The only bad thing is that if you are diving it's not going to change much. Saw some crayfish and a lonely koi but beyond that there isn't a while lot there to change so I honestly don't see myself heading out again. The warm showers was really great when it was cloudy and cold the second day. But weekends are pretty busy so the stuff on the bottom and sides gets pretty stirred up at times. During the week will be better but getting air fills will require a call ahead of time to make arrangements.nnOverall I would say it's worth doing some dives at least once but once you have seen it personally I don't really think it's worth hitting again.

Unbelievably beautiful! What a treasure this town has in it's presence. Do go and enjoy the cool water, drink at the local bar and talk with the locals. You'll be happy you did.
