Excellent, authentic meal. Quickly sat our party of 15 on a Friday night split up into 2 tables. Staff was friendly and helpful. They were short staffed but worked hard to make up the difference. Generous portions. Homemade tortillas to die for!!!! Do not miss this stop!!!!

We were driving through the area along I-40 a little late, saw the other good reviews of this restaurant so we called and placed an order about 10 minutes out. They were great with listening to exactly what I needed (burrito that could be eaten while driving, chicken strips for the kiddo, no cheese for the tamales) They brought our food out to our truck, and included all the utensils, napkins, salt, pepper and ketchup we would need. Everything tasted great! If you are in the area, it’s definitely a great restaurant and local business to support.

I ordered the tamale plate, it came with rice and beans. The tamales were deep fried (not steamed) and each were a measley 4 inches in length. Had I known they would be deep fried (or that small) I would have ordered something else. The flavor was okay but the texture was off. I've never had deep fried tamales.

Staff was amazing they were reopening off of lockdown food was amazing. Note new mexicans like spice I loved it but wife was not prepared.
