Wow, this is a true tea house - traditional ceremonial- grade teas in a fresh modern space. And the art really pulls it all together!nnThe owners clearly know the art of tea- from the unique old growth teas to the way the tea is served, this is not your average cafe. We literally stayed for hours in one of their cozy nooks enjoying several pots of different teas and snacking on amazing gluten free brownies. We ended up buying several teas, including Iron Goddess and Phoenix Oolong, so we could continue to enjoy some of our favorite teas at home. We will definitely come back to Mountain Gate next time we're in town - and I'd love to attend one of their formal tea ceremonies and meditations which I was told they do weekly. This place is a treasure.

Amazing teas, love the packaging too. I think these teas make the perfect gifts and are definitely not the grocery-store variety.nPerfect stop if you're in town, and Colin is very knowledgeable & passionate.nI can't go back to store-bought teas after trying these..

Sensational tea. Cozy atmosphere. Stunning art. Friendly staff. An extensive menu including scrumptious savory and sweet bites. A must try! Issa vibe. 11/10 recommend.

Wow what an incredible experience having tea here. They have a very special tea selection and are super knowledgeable. We had a pot of tea that lasted us for an hour because you can continue to rebrew and add fresh water. Epic relaxing teatime :)

Unique, high- quality teas, served in a traditional fashion. Do not let the posted prices discourage you, because each tea order serves at least 4 (or many more) people. The whole experience is so aesthetic and authentic to tea traditions. The atmosphere is so calm and inspiring!
