This place is awesome. The eployees are friendly and low key and knowledgeable. What impresses me the most is how courteous they are after dealing with the horde of tourists in Ouray all day every day.nThe meat selection is incredible. All the cuts of meat you could want, but also a plethora of cured meats and cheeses.
This is a very cool place with a great selection - I really liked it and would love to come back post-COVID BUT when I went in on 10/3/20 during the pandemic and when there was a public mask order in place none of the 3 employees were wearing masks. If I had not already handled the items I selected I would have left. It is a small place and having this many people together not following the public health orders did not feel safe.
Grabbed a BBQ brisket sandwich and a summer sausage and cheese snack pack. SO tasty. All of it. Eat these meats ud83dudc4d.
Awesome little gem. What a great find. They were open on a Sunday and very friendly! The smoked salmon and the beef jerky were excellent. We bought the olive oil in the smoke flavor and literally put it on everything! I can not wait to go back to stock up for gifts.
Excellent choices of in house produced meat and cheese. The peppered summer sausage was particularly notable.
