A hidden gem! Spent four nights here recently and can't find enough good things to say. Dry camping at it's best. The Dolores River below McPhee dam is a trout fisherman's paradise. Mesa Verde National Park and Hovenweep National Monument are less than an hour away. The star gazing opportunities were amazing. I definitely hope to find my way back to Bradfield Bridge!
Nice, large campground along the banks of the Dolores River. $8/night per site. Pump water available. Sites have covered tables & fire rings with metal grills. Seems popular with RVs so bring your ear plugs if tent camping since RVers tend to disrespectfully run generators much of the night. Mosquitos can be bad since it's along the river.
