L'Osteria Ristorante

Absolutely delicious! First time here for our anniversary dinner and everything tasted so fresh! Mussels were amazing and the saltimbocca is to die for. Tiramisu was superb. Janice was very attentive! I can’t believe this place has been down the street from me all this time! Will be back.

I love L'Osteria. I was here the first night they opened and I have stacked so many memories on top of that evening with so many of the best people in my life. The folks here have always made everything special. As anyone who knows me is aware, I'm pretty particular about food, and so also about restaurants. Although I like most foods, it must be excellent in flavor and preparation. L'Osteria has absolutely never let me down.

Growing up during a generation where neighborhoods would leave the doors to their home unlocked, keys to their car left in the ignition. Neighbors, relatives were loyal and HONEST. IT was a community of fellowship and family. No matter the situation people came together as one. Sharing common interest and loyalty. Our neighbors and family were never hypocritical. There was no contradiction to the truth. We were modest with integrity. So what is my point. Recently I read a review relating to my favorite restaurant. L'Osteria Ristorante at 1703 Cranston St.RI. During these difficult times in our lives of survival we still strive to do our best. A most recent review criticized the above mentioned restaurant of its service, staff, food ownership and where they had to park their car. Most importantly Mario and Sophia and their children are wonderful people. The food is impeccable along with a very well planned menu. Their staff work diligently to accommodate a most fine dinning experience. Just to reiterate, these are times of survival both for people and businesses. I have been a patron of this wonderful establishment for a little more than nine years. Over this period of time I have introduced several of my friends and family to L'Osteria. They keep coming back. Why? Simply said, there is so much good. Not to mention to the Italian music in the background. So, to be so critical concerning parking of a car , is sad. Great food, great atmosphere and great staff. If you're looking for a great Italian dish look no further. Always cooked to order and hot when it arrives at your table. This little gem is a must in the heart of Cranston.
