I called up the store at 4:30pm despite knowing they close at 5pm. After explaining my need for a quick tire repair, the gentlemen took me in for a quick tire patch. (2 other places nearby rejected my walk-in: Firestone, Town Faire)nIn addition to rolling the tire out to the waiting room to show me the actual puncture, he also offered me the nail after the quick fix. Very grateful for the excellent service.

These guys might have saved my life. I was traveling from Upstate New York to Boston on a holiday weekend. About an hour into the trip my car's wheels seemed a bit loud and the handling of the car was compromised. A half-hour later the tire sensor for the right rear wheel lit up the dashboard monitor that the tire pressure was low. I pulled into a gas station in New Hampshire, paying $1.50 for access to three minutes of air and got the tire back to 35 psi. But the noise from all four wheels continued when I resumed traveling down the Everett Highway at 75 mph. It was getting dark. I made it to Watertown, Mass., in about an hour and parked at a friend's house. The right rear tire was pancake flat Sunday morning. When stores re-opened Monday, Sullivan's Tires was the first to open at 7 am. I told them about what I thought was an isolated slow leak in the right rear tire. They called me about an hour later and said there was a severe alignment problem that had caused all four wheels to bow inward. The alloy wheels were grating into the tires which explained the right rear leak. Two other tires had been grated down to the steel fibers and were likely to blow out. Making matters worse, one of the controller arms to the right rear tire was degraded with two severely rusted bolts. Sullivan found replacement bolts from a nearby dealer. They didn't charge me labor for removing the rusted bolts and putting in the replacement bolts. That work, plus the four new tires and an alignment, were completed ahead of their estimated completion time. When I headed back home on the road, the car ran smooth and the handling was superb.
