I went to Dr. Skinner to get help with pain in my groin that I had been experiencing for months that was gradually worsening. At my first visit Dr. Skinner knew exactly what the issue was and we began physical therapy treatment. After just one visit I noticed a reduction in pain, something that I hadn’t felt in months. I continued sessions with Dr. Skinner and performed the exercises he prescribed me, and in a few short months, I had made a full recovery and was stronger, more knowledgeable, and lifting smarter and safer than ever before. I will confidently recommend Dr. Skinner to anyone seeking treatment. He is the real deal and will give you honest, accurate advice, no matter the situation.

Dr Skinner is the best in the business. He is dedicated to his profession, and he is dedicated to keeping athletes moving healthy. I have been to see him for two separate injuries. Both times I was pleasantly surprised with the approach taken, and the outcomes we achieved. The first was tennis elbow from general overuse and overload with weightlifting. We went straight to the gym floor and he had me walk through a handful of exercises which qualify as the usual suspects. Namely, the front rack barbell position. Surprisingly, he honed in on my shoulders, and I learned that I was overloading my arms because my shoulders were improperly stacked. The majority of our therapy consisted of exercises to get my shoulders in proper alignment, so that the undue load could be relieved off my arms & elbow joints. And it worked. The second injury was a sore knee from lots of heavy squatting. Again, we focused on areas that differed from what I thought; hip mobility and ankle mobility. We did hip & ankle mobility drills and I learned how to self-assess (test/re-test) on my own. Never did he have me stop doing my desired exercises. We just focused on moving well and correcting dysfunctional movement patterns, which lead to injury. Dr Skinner's approach works. I'll go to him every time I have an injury of any variety. If you care about getting better, do yourself a favor and go see him. You will not regret it.

A few months ago I suffered a pec injury that took me out of a lot of my training. With the help of Dr Skinner, he helped me get to the underlying causes of the injury within just one session. With his approach to rehabilitation I was able to progressively work bench back into my programming in a relatively short amount of time. The exercises he prescribes and the passion he has for training is on a completely different plane than other Physical Therapists.

Dr Lee Is very knowledgeable and passionate about his work. Things I thought were way worse were not as bad as I thought. He takes the time to explain things and show proper techniques. If you have have an injury I highly recommend him.

I searched high and low for a solution to my lower back pain. I spent thousands of dollars and 2 years trying a whole slew of solutions, from books to MRI's to shots. I was even looking into surgery. After scouring the internet I found Dr. Skinner and booked an appointment. His methods are not only effective (he had me back in action in months when it took me years to find him) but his bed side manner is 10 out of 10. Personally I've found it rare to find a Doctor that is very empathetic and effective. Highly recommend!
