The staff is amazing here- especially Matt! He should get all the praise. They are so patient with you to explain everything and make sure you are staying safe and making the most of your membership. It doesn’t feel like you are just another number here like other gyms. Very welcoming from the start and can’t wait to keep coming back!
I’m a member at Momentum due to proximity, but I have to say that the setting here is superior with regards to outdoor realism. Very enjoyable movement, clean and inviting facility, friendly staff.
The rules and guidelines put in place for covid-19 (reservation required, mask on at all time) made me feel safe to climb at The Front.
On paper their COVID response seems appropriate, however it is not executed well. They say stay 10' apart, but when I visit there isn't enough space to do so in many areas of the gym. They're tracking occupancy, except the 170 people allowed at South Main still feels very crowded. They have signage limiting the number of people on each bouldering wall, but I've been unable to boulder the last few weeks because the walls are already over capacity. If our hospitals are over capacity, our climbing walls certainly shouldn't be.
We've spoken to the front desk about our concerns, but they weren't able to provide any information on how policies are enforced.
What a great place! Building design is awesome, large windows at the top let you see the Wasatch range as you work out. Electric vehicle chargers in the parking lot are a nice perk. Loving it!
