Great Wolf Lodge Water Park | Mason

Facility was very clean and the workers are very polite but two of their main attractions in the water park were closed after being there 2 hours. We were told they would reopen the next morning but they were still closed the following day. Kids were really bummed. Didn't feel comfortable taking my toddler with the situation causing all the other attractions to be packed.nWe purchased 5 meal plans for breakfast lunch and dinner. Not knowing they give you a certain dollar amount to cover your lunch and dinner but the prices we're too high to cover us for both. Had to fork out more money than we planned because of both issues.Don't get me wrong the food was great!nNot what we expected for our first visit. Wish it would have worked out better. Looks like this was our first and last visit.

It was a great place. Not only was there a quality room, which had many comforts and amenities, there was a very fun water park. It is an attraction on it's own. The big water park has a lazy river, 6 big massive water slides, a wave pool, a gigantic water park area, hot tubs, and many other small things to play in. There is also a fun magic quest that takes you around the entire lodge. I would recommend this place as a great small family vacation.

Wonderful customer service. The resort was clean and comfortable. My kids had some much fun, their smiles was worth the money. The food was delicious, the activities were awesome the water park was amazing, loved that we could check out from the app. We will definitely be going backud83dudc93ud83dudc93ud83dudc93ud83dudc93

This was my first stay at a Great Wolf resort and I have to say I would be very impressed with it if it wasn't a pandemic. I booked this stay knowing there was a pandemic going on. I also booked this stay after staying in Disney for a week beginning of October. I want you be clear that everything I'm about to say has nothing to do with the staff there. Given what they have been handed they were doing the best they can. With that said this resort was EXTREMELY OVER BOOKED. If this was an outdoor resort I can understand a higher crowd level but with this being indoors it would have been nice to see at least some sort of capacity control. It was a free for all. I understand you cannot wear a mask while you swim but there was just way too many people in that enclosed space. Mix that with the constant rotation of pools and slides being closed it just crammed everyone together even more. I asked about this and they said their issue is staffing. Not enough guards. You guys gotta do something to show you at least care about how many people are under that roof. Please take a trip to Disney World to see how you can work some of that in. I am attaching a photo of the wave pool to show you exactly what I mean. Just want to warn at least some if you are concerned. It can be done safely I just didn't feel safe

The water park was great and my daughter had a great time. However there was a 20 something sitting at the end of one of the slides and was actively falling asleep while she should have been watching the kids. Also, the restaurants were trash. Everything I got over the weekend was either old and dry or cold when it should have been hot. Pretty sure my 3 year old could have thrown together a more appealing plate. The room was nice. The bedding was high quality and everything was extremely clean. Overall, we will come back but will be eating elsewhere.
