Friendly, respectful. Got answers to my questions (although 12 weeks for processing retroactive filing or any filing, is kind of unacceptable in this day and age). Overall surprisingly pleasant experience. Never thought I would say this about the IRS but it's true.

This office is horrible. The lady with long black straight hair that talked to me was so rude and unwilling to help. And on top of that she does not have knowledge of tax topics. I claim my mother that lives in Mexico because I support her 100% and she's telling me I can not do that. If they don't know what they are talking about they shouldn't give wrong advice. Rude, no knowledge. Waste of my time and this is the second time I came to this office. Word of advice. Train your employees. This is the IRS office.

You now have to make appointments by phone to even enter this IRS. I dealt with one of the worst employee in this office and her name is Carrie Peterson at the far left. Her services is absolutely unprofessional, immense amount of rudeness, and extremely impatient. Its ridiculous how a person can provide such inappropriate services in this kind of workplace. It is not acceptable.

I went there expecting the worst - but got the absolute best. Friendly, knowledgeable people, no waiting, comfortable surroundings. Retail establishments should follow this example. The IRS is not a place you normally want to go - but this is the best it can be. Thanks you.

The security officer in the name of D. Houston is very rude. He treated the people inside like a dog by shouting “ you sit”!!!!.... I went there to get some papers and did not realIze that it’s by appt only. I told him what I want, he said in a loud voice “sit” . I seated and when I was the only one and attempted to go the counter, he shouted at me “sit”. And then I ask why, he said it’s by appointment only. So he did not tell me when I first approached him instead he let me seated and then later he told me that. I went out to call for appointment and I can’t get same day but was told to approach again since I am the only one there and ask if they will entertain me. But while outside calling I heared him talking to the lady in the counter mocking the previous customer which speaks Spanish. Fortunately the girl in the counter entertain me since no one was there anyways. That security officer needs to undergo customer service training and don’t act like he is above everyone and putting fear to the people that come to the service center. There is nicer way to tell the people but not by shouting and commanding like a dog.
