Knapp Winery & The Vineyard Restaurant (Restaurant is seasonal)

Stopped by recently for a weekend visit. Bought their Port wine. The cork turned out to be bone dry and crumbly. They store their bottles upright, and likely have slow sales. So corks dry out. Ours broke three times with a corkscrew, but eventually came out fine with a cork puller. The Port itself was pleasant and predictable and reasonably priced.nnWe look forward to visiting when outdoor dining is again available. The facility is Covid safe.

Visited in September and bought 6 bottles to take home. On a rainy Friday night in CT, opened Pasta Red wine and dinner was brought up two notches! A spaghetti, basil, sausage and homemade marinara sauce was enlivened by this affordable and smooth wine accompanying it.nnWill definitely restock the cupboard with more of this gem!

I wish I tried their wines but I only had lunch here. The menu has a good selection and the food is great. Plenty of space for dining inside or out. My favorite part was the wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man!nnOverall, nice place with tons of reasons to come back! Will update this later when I try their wine.

Saturday August 1,2020 , Rich and I and our friends had lunch here. The service was excellent! Our server was warm and friendly and knowledgeable!! She made our lunch even more special!!!nWe ordered and our lunch came in a timely manner! This lunch was exceptionally delicious!nThe presentation was five star!nOk Our lunch was amazing!!!!nOMG. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. The seafood was delicious. We started with the cheese platter!! Delicious! We had the Flatbread!! When I tell you outstanding believe it.nThe lobster bisque alone , was enough , to give this lovely restaurant Five plus Stars.nThank you again for the pleasure of your company!nSally from Syracuse and Friends

We had a fantastic tasting and lunch here! The food was absolutely delicious, we loved everything we tried on the menu! And the wine was equally amazing. The staff were extremely friendly, service was great, and top quality on all food and wine. We highly recommend!
