Great camping spot. Plenty of room for our scout troop.
I go camping at this park every summer.nIt’s huge!!nAmazing for hikes, BBQs, large family outdoor activities and camping is always fun.
You need a reservation to get in with your car and park there. Nice place, but not a 5 star because of all that struggle with reservation. We got there for few hours just to swim and chill, and we had to park car far away and take a walk.
Horrible HORRIBLE. Extremely racist.nPlease if you are anything but WHITE AVOIDDDD THIS AREA. We came in by accident because we had no service and we went in to go to an office and speak to someone to give us directions. However there was no office or anything. We went walking to see if we can find one, and a white man with a cap on gave us a little nod and we said hello. And we then proceeded to go to our vehicle to see if we had any service yet. And we saw the man walk down behind us and he kept looking at our vehicle we saw him from our mirror. He walked back and fourth and wouldn’t move his eyes away from us. We immediately felt scared, he was watching us. We eventually pull out to leave because we felt extremely uncomfortable and scared for our lives. He was waiting in the front of the entrance waiting for us. We pulled into the entrance to exit the premises and he gave us a wave. We waved back and drove off, he pulled the chain to close the entrance and watched us leave until we turned on the ramp.nWe were terrified. I will never go to this campsite again. We also realized the campgrounds around us didn’t even recommend it to us. Each campground we went to gave us a list of surrounding campgrounds to visit and they avoided telling us about it. That says something...
Great place but theres a black bear that came by every morning and every evening looking for food everywhere.
