Penny is the best, nicest barber ever! Highly recommend this shop!!
The proprietor of Lady Di’s and Head Barber is Penny. She has been in that same location for years. Herb Batchelder, one of North Reading’s finest Firefighter/Paramedic referred me to Penny over 10 years ago. He knows the “the good, the bad, and the ugly” about most of the businesses in Town. He’s a lifelong resident and consummate professional on and off duty. When he recommends a place whether it’s an electrician, a place to eat, or a barber; he’s the “Go To Guy!” He has never led my friends or I astray. Many years ago, when I asked him about a good barber in Town? He immediately said “Penny at Lady Di’s on Main Street.” He was right on the money! Penny is beyond polite, professional, and a solid citizen. She is a foundational member and supporter of the Town’s food pantry and participate’s in a Cancer fundraiser each year. Her establishment is meticulously clean, her appointments run on time, she recalls almost everyone’s name, and how he or she likes the haircut. Please give her a try; you’ll be clean cut, smiling, and have established a contact with the area’s finest barber. Peace.
