The Pie Pizzeria - Midvale

The pizza is amazing. The staff, not so much. My husband picked up pizzas in 11/18 after 5pm. We were told on the phone that it would be 20-25 minutes, which we waited the appropriate amount of time for. When my husband got there, the cashier rudely told him the pizzas were not ready (which is no big deal-good food takes time/but there was no reason to be rude) . The next few interactions with employees were awful. It wasn’t what was said but HOW it was said-disrespectfully and with no regard for customer service. Let me add that I was a service industry worker for over 10 years. My husband has also worked in restaurants. We always tip a MINIMUM of 20%-even for awful service, just because we know there are a ton of variables that can lead to a bad experience. We are both overly polite to all restaurant workers because WE UNDERSTAND- it’s a tough job and there are a lot of entitled jerks out there. However, there was no reason for my husband to be treated disrespectfully and talked down to like a child. Even on my worst days, I never talked to a customer like trash. I would like to believe maybe the people working were just having a tough time, but we have unfortunately had several experiences like this at the Midvale location. It’s sad, because treating people well is about the only thing that we have control over, and some of the employees here lack any sort of kindness or customer service skills.

Delicious! We ordered The Wise Guy Pie, Hawaii Pie-O, and the spicy Thai and buffalo wings. We were at the Midvale location and it was carryout only.

We found this place on Happy Cow, and we were excited by the vast menu. The wings were overpriced and just OK at best. You cannot taste the soy bacon topping, or it wasn’t on the pizza. Not worth the extra dollar twenty-five. Tasty pizza though!

The pizza is amazing here. I really love everything about there pizzas. The restaurant is nice and clean. We had no problem calling and ordering our pizza and picking up. They also all had masks on to.

This is not only the best pizza but the best place to eat to me and my kids. We always pick this place when we're able to pick anything we want, they have such amazing quality of food and ingredients. The customer service is always so good and friendly. I've been going to all the locations for as long as I can remember especially the underground one. You must try The Pie!
