Towne Deli & Pizzeria

Fantastic.

Best garlic knots on Staten Island. They melt in your mouth, unlike the dry, doughy nightmares every other pizzeria makes. Their Eggplant Parmesan is amazing (second best to Montalbano's in Rosebank) they uniquely add some Ricotta to it.

Very disappointed. I know its Friday night and they get very busy, and I try to be extremely understanding when things don't turn out right but... wow. We ordered our food at 6:20 the order was due to be delivered at about 8:00 no big deal. To our surprise the food was delivered in just under an hour so we were happy about that. Once we opened our food the cheese wasnt even on the pizza anymore and it was cold in the center, we ordered a chicken cutlet hero that was supposed to come with cheese and sauce... it came PLAIN absolutely nothing on it , bone dry. We call the restaurant to ask what can be done because who in their right mind would order an almost $15 chicken sandwich just to eat it plain?! We ask the girl on the phone what can be done and she says they could come back for the food and exchange it or give us a $5 credit for our next order... the sandwich is almost $15. So you're telling me that during a pandemic you are going to pick up food from someone's home and bring it back to your restaurant?! Ridiculous.nnSo sad, we love towne deli, it's a shame we wont be ordering from them in the future.

The place offers a large variety of fresh food. I love eating here. Staff members are always very kind, rates are convenient and the place is always kept clean.
