This place offers great service and delightful food. My favourite spot in the city. The food came out rapidly and the prices were economical. Highly recommended.
I stumbled into this hidden gem and was rewarded with some amazingly smoked meats and a unique take on a classic appetizer prepared by pitmaster Chris a Cajun transplant. The owner Ken, sat and talked with us the entire time. He made me feel like I was a professional food critic. I can't wait to make another trip out to Alstead to visit Ken and sample more Chris' excellent cuisine! Thank you both for a great experience!
I eat here a lot since I work in the area. I have to say the customer service is always fantastic and they keep the place well kept all the time. Rates are fair and they serve sizeable portions.
Great brisket and sauces. Cornbread was moist and perfect and the Mac and cheese was deliciously smokey. Will definitely be back.
This was by far the worst BBQ I've ever had. Ribs weren't cooked, baked beans were not cooked (crunchy), pulled pork and brisket was flavorless. And to top it off WAY OVER PRICED!! 34.00$ for a rack of ribs and literally 4ozs of sides, and the combo platter was tiny. 70.00$ for two people is crazy...and we we're still hungry! Not worth the money or the drive.
