I don't understand how this place has such great reviews. I scheduled an appoinment to meet with a tax preparer to help me do my taxes. Came during my appoinment time and she asked me if I just want to drop them off. (The point of me making an appointment is because I want to make sure that if I were to do it on my own in the future that I do it correctly.) I explained to her that I tried doing it online but felt like I did them incorrectly and was just hoping that someone could do them with me. I also asked to get a quote before we proceed. These aren't outlandish questions in my opinion. She told me that she was too busy and that's it's a waste of her time. If you are so busy and it's a waste of your time why in the world would you take an appointment. That's also not how you should treat a customer. I didn't waster her time. She wasted mine.

Sidonie Poblah is so great! She really took us through our most complicated tax year yet with ease. She made us feel better and did great work for us. We love her!

I went to H&R Block after seeing what my return on turbo tax would look like, to ensure I was getting the best help. I was so upset with my entire experience that I almost left in tears. I worked with David, who was disorganized, unintelligible and rude. When I couldn't understand why he was claiming certain things he would raise his voice, when I pointed at the screen he would swat my hands away. I asked him to include the cost of my books (I’m a student and I spent $500 on books and saved all my receipts) he refused. I tried to cancel the entire consultation but he told me that was a bad choice and scribbled some numbers on a paper which I couldn’t understand until I finally succumbed. I was so confused and frustrated with the whole experience that I am turned off from ever going back to them again.

Because I could save 168. Doing my very non -complex tax myself. I had to pay for another form for 13.00 I earned in interest...and that put me in the complex category. Woman was lovely though.
