They are consistently late with filling prescriptions, and sometimes they don't even fill the prescription at all

DO NOT GET A COVID TEST HERE! We scheduled my Covid test for Wednesday 11/11 at 12:30, we got there on time, and there was just one car in front of us. WE WAITED 30 MINUTES FOR ONE CAR, and then my test took another 20 minutes. And the cherry on top is that IT HAS BEEN 9 DAYS AND I DONT HAVE MY RESULTS BACK. I haven’t been able to go back to work, and I have been left in the dark for 9 DAYS because CVS can’t do their job. please, if you need a Covid test, absolutely do not come here.

I have not had one good experience at this location. I have been dealing with migraines since we moved to the area 1.5 years ago and have continuously tried to give the staff the benefit of the doubt, as I understand being short staffed and now trying to work during unprecedented times.nThat said, each time I get a prescription filled, there's an issue. Last month, I used the automated system to refill. I received three calls from the system letting me know the prescription was ready to be picked up. Having relied on that system in the past only to be disappointed, I called to verify. A staff member confirmed the meds were ready. I arrived to pick them up later that day and was told not only were they NOT ready, they were still awaiting my doctor's approval (which should not have even been necessary as I still had multiple refills and was not attempting to refill early). I repeated this process twice more on the following days - after of course receiving automated called letting me know that now it was ready - only to be told each time I arrived back that the doctor has not yet approved.nFast forward to earlier this week when I called to see why my prescriptions were taking days to process. Three had been sent over from my neuro at the same time, yet the pharmacy tells me they only have one of three, but they're working on it (and have been for two days). It's too late to contact the office of the neuro, so I tell her I'll check on the situation the following day. I do as soon as they open, and receive an immediate response from my neuro saying the pharmacy has all three prescriptions in their possession. Less than an hour later, I receive (again multiple) calls from the automated system letting me know that ALL THREE are ready. Nine hours later, my SO goes to retrieve them for me only to be told they aren't ready....it'll be 15 minutes. To make an already long story a bit shorter, I'll just say that even after waiting, he was sent home with only two of three of the prescriptions I needed.nI genuinely wish I could say this was surprising, but I haven't EVER had a smooth or positive experience here. Once I go today to finally retrieve what I need - which would be less of a big deal if I wasn't struggling with debilitating headaches for which I need these prescriptions - I will never again be utilizing this pharmacy. At the risk of being a complete Karen, I wrote you a novel in hopes that you realize you should spare yourself unnecessary stress, avoid interactions with rude and seemingly incompetent staff that have never, in my experience, taken responsibility for nor apologized in any capacity for the inconveniences I mentioned (or countless others I haven't), and avoid this pharmacy at all costs too.

Every time I have a prescription called in from the doctor office it is never ready when I go to pick it up. They only start filling the prescription when you get there. Then they tell you to come back in three hours. This ticks me off every time, but I can’t switch because of insurance. They always give me the same excuse that they are short staffed or the pharmacist is new. The real reason is they won’t hire enough pharmacists.

Having worked as a pharmacist myself I have a great deal of grace for the folks behind the counter. But corporate offices are cutting back staff so much that it’s literally impossible to rely on CVS at all. And now that they started drive through COVID testing in their only drive thru lane you should absolutely pick up caribou on your way to get your prescriptions. And also bring and iPad with an episode or two or westworld or something, because even mid day during the week you should be prepared to wait for 45-60 minutes just to be told they’re not ALL done. Only this one.nnThey have the tools, and they have the skills. But they don’t have the time. Wish corporate cared about patients or at least pretended to.
