Almost 21 years ago my mom had her wedding here. unfortunetly shortly after my son announced his engagement to his beautiful girlfriend Dec 2018 & plan to have the Wedding Jan 2021. Un announced, not prepared, with out warning, without Doctors knowing why or having any answers & way to young (62)my mom passed away april 2019 unable to attend my sons wedding she had been so excited & couldn't wait to be apart of. With the wedding shower planned & only a week away. Details surrounding the venues rules created a problem with limiting the # of guests that could attend..(panic) so after contacting some other venues with short notice. They finally were able to find only one venue that would be alright with the # of guests that had alright been invited (Big cottonwood). Receiving the new address to my sons wedding shower. everyone unaware of the event 21 years & I, unaware thinking I had never been here before. Had no clue it was the same place until I arrived when suddenly i was overwelmed with emotion. I have only been here twice in my life. Once to be my moms maid of honor during her wedding & almost 21years later to be apart of the wedding shower for my oldest son( who was only 3 yrs old at my moms wedding) & his soon to be wife. When I told my son during his wedding shower (Sept 5th 2020) about his Nana getting married In the exact same spot 21 years ago. He was shocked. Then with a smile on his face he then told the story to the love of his life & said, coincidence? I don't think so. Nanas here with us. For me this just became a special & very magical place in my heart.

Fun place to go play disc golf. Twenty one hole course makes for a great evening activity in the dry seasons. Might be a little hot in the mid day summer heat to spend more than a couple hours at. They frequently rotate the course layout to provide a different experience regularly. Decently scenic park for being in the middle of salt lake with plenty of trees and a large stream along the far side of the park.

A great open park with an awesome disc golf course. Easily one of the best around. It always seems to be really well maintained and I think there is some volunteer activity to thank in part for that. It's got a pavilion with tables, sand put for volleyball and playground for the kids.

One of the top places to engage in disc golf. Summer evenings and days in the fall will have dozens of frolfers traversing the park. 18+ holes, great for novices and veterans alike.
