Great place to take kids to see planes. It's best when they landing and taking-off, west to east. You can watch from your car or there's a couple of benches and picnic tables.

Easy to access. Great views of a few different runways. You get to see planes take off and land. There are benches and picnic tables, so on a nice day you could be outside watching, and the noise isn’t bad at all.

Amazingly busy, but this is a great way to get out of the house and have cheap fun! The newer aircraft viewing area near UPS and Fed Ex centers is really good. The best in the summer. Grab a picnic lunch and let the kids run while studying aeronautics!nnBe sure to download both the Flight Aware and Live ATC apps. Brings what you are seeing to life. You can track inbound and outbound flights and know where they've been or going.

I enjoy coming here to watch aircraft and relax. Very frustrating lately though, as the site indicates the viewing area is open; when you drive to the area and find out it's closed, and has been for days on end, it takes some of the thrill out of the desire to go. Airport police just wasting time parked across the access area. Someone should be responsible for updating public information: if the viewing area is closed for the day, include this information on this site, so people don't waste their time driving there only to be turned away. Sad.

Really fun. To watch different types of planes coming in and out. Great for people with anxiety to calm them about aircraft.
