I am very disappointed in the service I have received from this store. I ordered a swim parka for my granddaughter on November 26th and was told it would be available for pick up in 3 weeks. I then get a call as it should be arriving in the store telling me they will ship it to my home to make sure I get it by Christmas. It did not arrive as of 12/29. The store was closed 2 days before Christmas and the day after Christmas so nothing I could do to get any word on where the parka was. I then called when they were back open and was told they would check on the shipping information and call me back shortly. I never received a call back. I will be trying again in Monday to talk to a manager. Also not calling a customer back when saying you will do so is unacceptable and not following up on your Christmas orders to make sure they have been delivered when obviously they new they had a problem is very poor customer service. I will not be shopping at Making Waves again.

The absolute worst customer service i have ever had. Ordered suits for my team on December 9th, am constantly being told they are being overnighted and as of 1/19/2020 still no suits. Except now Making Waves will not answer phones calls or respond to emails. What is most c is I ordered from their VP of Sales and CEO Sean Ryan. If this is the level of service the CEO gives this is definitely a business i will no longer do business with in the future. I can't do zero stars but that's what i honestly give the services.

They will not honor anything. I brought my daughter here for a fastskin. First of all, anyone who has had to purchase these knows how expensive they are. We purchased her last one here a couple years ago and this year she was “due for a new one.” They’ve changed their policies and we weren’t expecting to have to pay $50 JUST to try on a fastskin. Then if it rips while trying to get it on, they will charge you another $50 (so be careful) However, if you try something on and decide to purchase it, they will put the $50 towards your purchase. If you try something and can’t find what you like or what fits you, you lose your $50. When I questioned the policy changes, she rudely told me they had too many people coming in just to try things on and then going online to purchase what they found because it was cheaper online. She then told me,”that’s not what we’re here for.” Well duh, when your charging up to five hundred and some dollars for a fastskin, not everyone can afford that. And, our school does not have a sponsor anymore so we don’t get a “team discount” which made the situation a little harder.nLuckily my daughter found what she “needed” and walked out “safe” without having to lose a $50 “try on” fee and a $50 “rip fee.”nThe lady started out very rude when questioned about the policy change and my daughter not being sure if she wanted to pay the fee just to try something on. Once my daughter found something she liked, the worker changed her attitude and wasn’t so rude. Unfortunately they are the only store around that we have found has anything like this so we are “stuck” getting what we NEED from here until we can figure something else out.

This is a company that really does care about the customer. The Owner took a really bad situation and turned it into something very positive. One of the best swim shops you will find!
