Just camp up for a day trip but the campground was well maintained. Sites are somewhat secluded with easy access to Pigeon River. Sites a good mix of sunny and shady. Not too sandy. Rustic sites ideal for tents and many will support rv/campers. Shingle Mill Path way is awesome. Outhouses clean and smelled decent. Can't wait to camp here!

It's very quiet and can be relaxing.. You definitely can hear howling every night.. The wild animals definitely will steal unattended food.. Warning, a lot of ticks!!! Check yourself and pets a lot!! Must have bug spray!#

Clean and some spacious campsites. 6.8 mile Shingle Mill Loop was nice except last mile of swampy but infested trails.
