Bombshell Bridal is THE place to go for the curvy and fuller figured bride!!! I'm a very self conscious person and absolutely hate trying on clothes in general. I went to Bombshell and they made all my worries go away!! They make you feel like the beautiful woman you are (because we're ALL beautiful ladies) and will listen to your concerns, of you have a strict budget they'll work with you to stay within that budget. My consultant, Danielle, was AWESOME! She made sure to stick within my budget and didn't put me in anything I didn't want to try on. I found my dress in under an hour and I love it!!! (on their clearance rack - bonus!) and I definitely recommend giving them a try - they won't disappoint!
I did a late night Google search for bridal boutiques that specialize in designs for full figured brides and was so happy to see that Bombshell Bridal was less than an hour and a half from me. I made an appointment for the following day. I just can't say enough about my experience. From the phone call confirming my appointment during which the consultant was positive and enthusiastic, assuring me that I'd have lots to choose from in my size... to our meeting in the store with Melissa. This was my first time trying on bridal gowns, so I had no idea what silhouette I liked on my body; I fully intended for this to be a fact finding trip for me to narrow down the styles I liked. But Melissa was soooo helpful, so supportive, and had such a great eye. Once we figured out what I was drawn to, she pulled a few more dresses, and one of them was The One! The ladies were so detail oriented and made the extra efforts to ensure the dresses I was initially interested in would be available from the designers in time for my June wedding, so as not to get my hopes up for something that wasn't possible. If you are a curvy bride and want to have an amazing gown shopping experience, please make an appointment to visit these ladies. I am so happy I did.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Bombshell. Working with Danielle was an experience I wish all brides would get to experience. She was kind, patient, understanding and was so in tune with what she thought I would love, so much so she picked the dress I fell in love with! I felt so welcomed and comfortable here and cannot give enough praise to Danielle. I am looking forward to my second appointment already! Thanks Bombshell Bridal!
I had an amazing experience! Especially after dealing with the unprofessionalism of David's Bridal. It started out with my stylist, Stephanie, waiting for me at the door. Stephanie hand-picked a wedding dress she thought I'd like and it ended up being the one that I bought! Every single worker here treated me kindly and never judged me for being a plus sized bride. My appointment was scheduled for an hour and a half but it ended up being over two hours, however, they never made me feel rushed. To top it all off, Stephanie sent me a handwritten thank you letter in the mail, which was definitely appreciated! I cannot say enough good things about this place! Skip off the rack at David's Bridal and come here and give them your business instead.
Stephanie was amazing! Very helpful answered all our questions and we had a lot. Huge selection of bridesmaids dresses and in all sizes. Beautiful private room available. We ordered and got a nice discount for ordering at our first visit!
