ORV law clearly states that they are prohibited from 7-11 and from 2-5 on public trails during firearm deer season,this must be an unenforced law as ORV riders are constantly on the trails in the centerline/ shepherd road area.2 weeks out of the year must be too much to ask or the officers don't want to be bothered with it,no other explanation.TERRIBLE

We rented an ORV in the area and mistakenly ventured a very small way onto Federal land. A DNR officer gave us a ticket that costs $175! It was clearly a trap used to generate revenue. Officer was very un-kind, stated he was doing us a favor by not charging us with a misdemeanor and making us go to court! Ridiculous way to treat visiting tourists. We won't spend our travel dollars in Baldwin ever again.

Watch out for DNR officer Josiah. He looks for any reason to harass and give tickets to off -road dirt bikers. He is unethical!
