Raggs Boutique

This is my husbands FB. I have been in this store 3 times. The first time was a good experience in fact they kept the store open for me to finish my shopping they did although keep asking me if I had a budget and I said no budget I get what I like and what I want.nThe second experience was down right rude. I walked in the door and with 4 associates standing at the counter talking amongst themselves did not even acknowledge me coming in. I have owned 4 boutiques and my number one rule to these employees were to speak to EVERYONE that came in the door even if you had to excuse yourself for a moment and acknowledge them and tell them your finishing up and will be with them momentarily. I proceeded to shop and no one spoke one word to me. I left the store it bothered me all the way home. I support local businesses and one of the reasons is for the personal services. I like to be helped and not have to search for employees. So when I got home I thought I am going to call and speak to an owner or manager and just let her know. So I called and she apologized up and down and said I will give you discount and it was a generous discount and I declined it. I told her I am not looking for anything but the service I deserve when I come into a small business. She kept apologizing and wanting me to take this discount and I said just please make sure your employees acknowledge everyone as they walk in it’s very important to make someone feel important coming into your store. She thanked me for the advise and I told her I don’t need discounts i can afford your store no problem.nSo yesterday we came to Holly to go to the Stone loft have been there many times and have always had excellent service. In fact they recommend Rags Boutique because I was looking for something different and your store has different things and I like that. The lady did acknowledge my husband and I so it was kinda off to a good start then I had asked if they carried any extra small clothing and the lady became snippy with me and said everything in my this store is oversized. I went about my business looking around and mind you there were 3 or four people in there. My husband then alerted me this sales lady was watching us the whole time he said I think she thinks we are going to steal something and I said no I can’t imagine that. Well I got that feeling shortly after that. My attitude changed after that I found a pair of boots I wanted for $159 but was looking to see if they were leather before I purchased them. I had told her I am very fussy. Now I am not sure if she stereotype me because I am pretty much covered in tattoos I sure hope not because I am not sure what she know but my skin is worth thousands of dollars so yes I have plenty of money to shop in your store and should have never felt that way. Super long story short I ordered those boots online. I found them and bought them all because your staff does not know how to treat all types of people that come through your door. That’s really unfortunate that you lost a sale because of that. Maybe you should have some meetings on how to treat all kinds of people. You have no idea who has money to shop in your store it could be the ones you least expect. I also found a shirt there it was about the same price by Liv couldn’t find that online. Unfortunately you lost a sale over $350. That’s sad. I won’t be back this time and that’s unfortunate to. I know this will get erased so I am going to copy it and put it on other site reviews. Hopefully you correct the problem but as for me it’s to late.
