Steve is an interesting character. Some neat old bikes. Haven't checked out the bathrooms and shower yet. A little afraid to.
This is a great little Campground that we found on a Facebook page called motorcycle campers. We planned a last-minute four day bike trip up Lake Michigan and back and decided to check it out. We got very lucky and arrived on customer appreciation weekend for 42 in business and our entire weekend of camping was free. In addition to that they had ice cream coffee and popcorn available all weekend at no charge. The owners Steve and Shirley are very genuine good-hearted people. They do several Toys for Tots runs each year and hold potluck dinners on Memorial and Labor Day weekends from what I understand. The only reason I didn't give it five is the grounds are a little rundown. They could be a little more well-maintained but overall it was a great place and a great stay. We will definitely be going back
Nice place to camp when you want to ride your motercycle all over you can get up in the morning and go 100 mile one way 100 mi another way ...... day trips to levering .tunnel of trees traverse city north port you name it and you can make a day of it. They have electric hook up HOT SHOWERS and clean bathrooms. and a dump station
