Yummy.

Great local place. Always good and better than most other pizza options. Steak & Cheese sub good size (one size) and meatball pizza on Specialty Pizza menu - very good. Crust perfect. Right in strike zone, not overly seasoned. Solid take out, friendly staff.

First time eating at La Pizzeria and it was delicious! I ordered a new specialty pizza...spicy pumpkin with prosciutto. Not knowing what to expect I was pleasantly surprised. The pureed pumpkin had a sweetness balanced by the saltiness of the prosciutto! Great idea! My husband also enjoyed his chicken parm hero. Millie, our waitress was sweet and genuinely interested in my review of the pizza, seems I was the 1st to try it.

Pro: Free delivery to our hotel was very handy. Chicken Penne was good. Pizza was good.nnCons: Buffalo Chicken tenders were extremely small and lacking much buffalo flavor. Comparable to frozen chicken tenders from grocery store, only these were smaller. And expensive. Very dissapointed. (And we had 2 orders of them. Got hit twice). Bill came to $58 incl tip for the 4 items. If it hadnt of been their closing time, I would have called to complain.nnGrateful for the delivery. Dissapointed in our choice of food.

Although I may not be from New York, New Jersey, or even Chicago, I have eaten my fair share of pizza. My family ordered a large pie with pepperoni, cheese calzone, and cheese bread. The service was satisfactory with the gentleman delivering with minimal interaction, but polite.nnThe first bite of my calzone was disappointing since I did not taste much flavor. The marinara sauce was a dark colored red (Typically light red), that seemed to start to have a bit of a tang, only to fizzle out flat. I am used to having Roma tomatoes as my sauce, which this clearly was not. The Ricotta was unfortunately not flavored, not even oregano or parsley was evident, not one green spec. I chose to leave most of the calzone as it lost my interest.nnI tried a slice of pizza, and clearly felt the same as the calzone. No clear flavor except the pepperoni. The crust was thin and soft, almost like it was meant to be a NY style but confused.nnI can not say much about the cheese bread except more of the same (Not enough garlic flavor), although it was not burnt or dry which was nice. I'm confident garlic powder is used, not minced garlic.nnI do not like giving poor reviews, although feel it is my duty to let others know when they are not from the area to understand the food they may be ordering. I did not try any other food, which may be great, although the pizza, and calzone, I would skip.
