We were at Perkins Cove for a quick lunch and decided to grab a lobster roll. My wife and I shared a fried clam strip plate and a lobster roll with butter only and our daughter also had a lobster roll. While the lobster rolls were absolutely delicious I actually enjoyed the fried clam strips more. They were excellently lightly fried and the French fries were awesome. We are here for five days and will be going back again...

The actual food here was absolutely excellent. We ordered 3 twin lobsters and corn. The lobster was cooked perfectly and was fresh from the boat. The only issue was there was only one woman working the stand and many many people in line to order. Also the clam chowder is not homemade which you should expect it to be since you’re right in maine.

A great place if you love lobster rolls and fried clams like I do. Been coming to Maine for three decades and have tried many places. The food here is right there with those at the top like Red’s (although Red’s makes such a big deal) in Wiscasset. Actually fried clams here are better than Reds and the lobster roll is just perfect. Not overcooked, not from a prepacked plastic bag like many lobster rolls in Maine are, moist, served at the right temperature (not freezing cold and dried out like some lobster rolls) and plenty of lobster which just a little mayo or warm butter as you prefer. Order four lobster rolls and open the box in front of your spouse and two best friends and watch their eyes pop at the chunks of lobster overflowing in the rolls. Fried clams are delicious too. Not sandy, not chewy - just tender sweet , whole belly clams in a slightly crunchy, batter cooked to golden perfection (not burnt or in “old oil” like some other places). The fried scallops which few write about are also delicious here. Even my son who took a pass on the fish and had a double cheeseburger said it was great! All they need now is to sell the perfect slice of Maine wild blueberry pie. Woman at the counter is very nice.

Really liked the lobster roll here. The owner of a place is a nice, friendly woman, who takes the orders. It is also remarkable, that all lobsters come from her own boat, meaning the food chain is so short, local and sustainable.

This place is great! The food is outstanding and the prices are great. The owner catches the lobsters himself. Very hard working and it shows in the great taste. Best place in Ogunquit for seafood for sure.
