This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a retail establishment. My friend and I are on vacation exploring shops in Perkins Cove. We wandered into Aquinnah because I’ve shopped there before. Since we haven’t seen each other in over a year we started a conversation and stalled in the shop. There were no other customers in the store. We were in the middle of our conversation when the saleswoman asked us to “take it outside” because she had no interest in what we were discussing. I had no idea her business is that good that she can ask paying customers to leave her shop. I grew up in retail and would NEVER be so rude to a customer. Needless to say I will not be returning there. If this was the owner I’m shocked. If this was an employee I feel for the owner because she is paying someone to ruin her business.
