A highlight of my trip to Maine with my friends. Classic type of hometown diner who were great with making people from Rhode Island and Massachusetts feel welcomed. They pleasantly represent the rest of Maine from what I experienced during my visit

I don't care what anyone says, this place is a bar not a restaurant. Everyone raves about how great this place is, so I had to try it.nThe entire experience wasn't completely a waste of time, but there were more cons than pros.nThe atmosphere is extremely loud. Who wants to listen to blaring Rock-n-Roll and drunks at 9 am?nThe food is okay, but not great. It's overpriced for what it is. I had two breakfasts with two hot coffees and the whole meal cost me $37. I can eat cheaper than that at home and have more of a pleasant experience. The service is friendly, but it could have been better. I asked for more cream and sugar, but never got any. Asked for chocolate milk, but never got any. Was never offered another cup of coffee and I was so thirsty by the end of my meal that I couldn't wait to leave.nOverall, I am not happy with the experience and won't be going back. At least I can say that I tried it.

Great food friendly service! Go there on Sunday mornings to see the stragglers from the bar on Saturday night! I go every week just for the show!

Food is top notch and priced reasonably. Had really good home fries once but the cooks must've changed because they haven't been as good since that 1 time. Will keep coming back for the colorful atmosphere and diner fare

Okay, July's was fantastic. Wanted an old style local diner and it hit it on the head. I had the eggs benedict. Tremendous. The country potatoes were crispy and flavorful with sauted onions. Coffee was diner basic but will bring anyone back to post hangover college outings. Prices reasonable. Parking easy.
