Fun to take grandkids.nThey met a new friend
The park is great. It's a nice area next to the river with an older kids playground on top of the hill and a younger kids playground at the bottom. The best part of this playground is that it has shade. On a hot summer day this is the playground I always bring my children just because it has shade and usually a nice breeze off the river.
The park equipment is well maintained and I appreciate that there is a place for toddlers to play, but they are separated by quite a distance which makes it a bit difficult to keep an eye on children with an age gap. The grass is frequently unmowed, so a bit wild. You may see children using the restroom in the open while parents watch on. There's usually quite a bit of trash on the ground and we once found a dead owl. There is a chance of seeing (alive) bald eagles.
Nice little Park. Good obstacles for kids. Clean. Nice location on River. Planes are always going over head. My son had a great time
