I loved this campground but as of late they seem to have become money hungry. they nickle and dime you for everything and wont allow you to exit the river at their campground anymore unless you pay for transport. I went here for many years but now it's just not worth the drive from CT for such pettiness.

What a great experience! Site on the river was peaceful. Plenty of space for car and tent. Great firepit. Exceedingly clean. Great bathrooms. I would absolutely come back.

We love this campground. We have been here multiple times and love it. It is very relaxing, nice wooded sites, and a great pool. The owners take pride in it and it shows.

We just returned from Woodland Acres with our 2 dogs. The campground itself is nice. Our site was private and well situated. Most of our neighbors were respectful but there were a few sites nearby with dogs that barked constantly!nnWe noticed that the campground charges extra for almost everything.nCamping with your dog? $2.50 per day per dognWant WiFi? $8/day (there is no cell service otherwise)nWant to launch your own canoe/kayak? $8 eachnChecking in early? $5/hournWe were shocked we didn’t have to pay for showers!nnMy biggest issue was the cleanliness. During this time of the Covid pandemic I would expect public areas to be sparkling clean. The bathrooms were anything but that. No matter the time of day. Backed up/overflowing toilets, no toilet paper, dirty showers, etc. I went to the office to inform someone of these conditions but the blinds were down and shut.nWe’re glad we tried somewhere new but with so many options for locals, we’ll probably camp elsewhere next time.

Stayed 4 nights..staff was excellent, friendly. Canoed the Saco 3 days. Equipment rental was good quality.nWeek days, had river to your self, not alot of people.nSaturday was slammed, had to listen to kids and families camping, telling us to go home. Lots of cans, litter, fireworks refuse.nCamping was great at woodland.
