Nice trail that is well maintained. Shorter trail but with some good uphill terrain for a good workout. Most importantly though is the beautiful scenery along the way AND the magnificent views from the top in all directions! A must for all!!
A short hike with moderate elevation gains and a stunning view of the surrounding hills and Mirror lake as well as the coastline. Small parking lot so arriving early recommended!nnProceed across road from parking lot for trail access. Nice spot for a family hike and a lite picnic lunch on Spruce Mountain.nnMy late spring climb resulted in some opportunity for many wild flower photos.
Steep slope up Bald Mountain, slippery ice in late November near the peak. Beautiful hike.
We discovered this area last winter. My kids (4&8) love to hike and made it to the top of Bald Mountain without an issue. There are a few areas that push the Bald Mountain trail to a moderate difficulty.
Great hike up Bald Mountain from here!
