Beautiful but strenuous hike. Short, only takes an hour up to the top and back. Beautiful views and challenging. Love this hike!
Parking is limited on Megunticook St but the trail was easy to access and clearly marked to arrive at the tower on top
A really workout for a relatively short hike. Various overlooks with beautiful views of the bay and Camden. We did it in sneakers, but I would make sure you have food treads. And brings lots of water and snacks as you’ll need it on the way up.
Great trail not much parking tho
One of the more steep trails around. The trail is fun and is pretty quick to get to the top. There are plenty of views on the way up to stop and get a nice picture of the harbor. There are some times where it feels like there lots of people on the trail but for the most part it isn't too crowded. Worth doing if you have lots of energy. Not ideal for winter hiking but it is doable.
