Maxi's Food & Spirit Barn

My wife heard nothing but good things about this place so we decided to take our son and have a nice little family dinner. I only gave 2 stars because it was a very comfortable and cozy setting. We loved the stall seating and being separated from other diners. The food and the service were serioulsy lacking. The server was friendly enough but it took so long for her to even initially come to our table and then it took so incredibly long to get our food and to get anything we asked for such as condiments and drinks. Now, they were busy and usually I give restaurants a pass and I would have if the bigger parties all around us weren't receiving our same server's undivided attention and they got their food and drinks in half the time we got ours. The food was very basic and pretty much flavorless. We didnt even finish it.

Amazing. Good atmosphere, very beautiful people especially the cooks. Great food 10/10 would come back in the near future.

We like Maxis for steaks and seafood, and the chicken dinners as well. The salads were really fresh, and the fried zucchini appetizer was great. The are a great, locally owned business with an excellent staff. The place was clean, but could use some upgrades/ maintenance on the front door and bathrooms...

Maxi's is worth the wait. Great food everytime we go there.
